5x Refill Station FAQs
The 5x is designed for in-home use only. It must be installed within 6 feet of a water, drain, and power source. Installation is limited to the 1st floor in a kitchen, garage, or laundry room—kitchen islands are not eligible. Installation may require drilling a 1/4-inch hole on or around cabinets or walls.

Your unit will be shipped within 3-8 business days and will require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure the unit is stored indoors (in your garage or home) as it cannot be left outside to maintain its quality. If you selected White Glove Service, our technician team will contact you to schedule installation. Look out for an email from support@drinkflowater.com and be ready to provide a few 4-hour windows.
White Glove Service installations typically take up to 2 hours and must be scheduled with a 4-hour home availability window.
If you fall within a White Glove Service area, it’s highly recommended to use a FloWater technician for installation. If you fall outside of the service area, an installation guide will be provided with the unit, and you will be responsible for the coordination and cost of an external plumber.

The 5x unit does not require a drain line, has a reduced height for more compact spaces, and replaces RO filters with Ultra Filtration filters.

Once unit is installed, all service including filter changes and repairs must be done through a FloWater technician. Filter changes are requires after 12,000 gallons or 1 year, whichever comes first, and cost $300 including shipping and on-site service. Repairs will be billed at $200/hour with a minimum of 1 hour.
